Kitting Team Lead

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Ensure that the kitting area is well organized in 5S.
• All the empty trays and reels are stored into tote bins or designated areas.
• Use RF scanner for kitting materials based on Stockroom job orders to build locations.
• Kit SMT parts to nearest standard pack quantity, MI and MA parts to exact quantity unless specified.
• Change new labels upon completion of kits for MI and MA parts, returning the balance quantity to Stockroom.
• Report any shortages to Stock Keeper or Officers and ensure MES processes are correctly carried out.
• If shortages are from the same line, roll over to the next build; no splitting of reels unless necessary.
• Return mother reels to the line and hand over new split reels to Material Assistant.
• Update and file documents like Pull lists, Pull list verifications, and shortages.
• Keep HMP parts in orange kanban and obtain OLRS leader's signature before releasing to them.
• Conform to store operations, quality, and ISO policies and procedures.
• Maintain goods 5S at all times.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a safety-conscious attitude.

Job Qualifications

• Ability to effectively communicate with various groups.
• Problem-solving and data analysis skills.
• Advanced PC skills, including familiarity with Jabil's software packages.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Knowledge of rate, ratio, and percent calculations.
• Ability to read and understand visual aids.
• Basic writing and correspondence skills.
• Basic reading comprehension and arithmetic skills.
• Knowledge of 5S principles and ISO policies and procedures.
• Safety awareness and adherence to company safety guidelines.
