Kitting Operator
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Planning the workload for the day/week through assigned reporting and direction from leadership
- Create or print work order travelers based on the schedule
- Complete the work orders through the operating system with a 100% accuracy goal
- Audit coworkers’ system transactions
- Print labels for designated product being created
- Contributes to accident-free operations and compliance to all health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements
- Assembles pre-formed boxes
- Creates packages containing correct number of items for kitting packages, including handrails, spindles, printed installation directions, templates and building screws
- Lables completed boxes
- Bands and covers completed boxes
- Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/management
Qualifications, Education, And/or Experience
- Must be self-directed and motivated and able to multi-task in fast-paced, warehouse environment
- Attention to detail, essential
- Work schedule flexibility, with or without notice, to accommodate the needs of the business
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Preferred
- One to three years’ experience in a similar position
- Forklift certification preferred (sit down and stand up) as well as material handling experience

- Ability to work in an environment that can become cold/ hot (temperature)
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for long periods of time and occasionally required to walk;

- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - per safety guidelines
Work Environment
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment where temperatures that can become very hot depending on the weather.
