Kitchen Team Member

We're on the lookout for enthusiastic Team Members to join our Dash In team, where the adventure begins with a starting wage of $16.50 per hour. Earn an additional $1 per hour premium for overnight shifts.

About the role

Dash In, a proud member of the Wills Group family of brands, is launching a new, chef-inspired food concept in a 24/7 retail environment. We're assembling a Back of House (BOH) team to prepare delectable dishes and deliver an extraordinary food service experience to our guests.

Responsibilities

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality standards to prepare culinary dishes.
• Monitor and maintain prep levels to ensure freshness and readiness.
• Organize and restock your prep station, keeping the kitchen tidy.
• Receive and store deliveries in their proper place.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and appearance.
• Engage with guests to deliver a personalized experience.
• Operate food service equipment, including deep fryers and slicers.
• Use proper lifting techniques to handle large containers (e.g., five-gallon soft drink containers weighing 50 to 65 pounds).

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (or ability to complete our company-paid GED program).
• 1 year of food service experience; line cook or prep cook experience preferred.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, overnights, and weekends.
• Authorized to work in the United States and at least 18 years of age.
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Active ServSafe certification or similar qualification.
• Familiarity with POS software and basic tech-savviness.
• Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills.
