About the role
We're assembling an epic Back of House (BOH) team to whip up delectable dishes and deliver an extraordinary food service experience to our hungry guests. As a Kitchen Associate, you're the culinary wizard behind the scenes, responsible for crafting mouthwatering meals and ensuring our guests leave with smiles as big as their appetites.
Responsibilities
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality standards to prepare culinary delights.
- Monitor and maintain prep levels to ensure freshness and readiness.
- Keep prep stations organized, restocked, and tidy.
- Receive and store deliveries in their proper place.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and appearance.
- Engage with guests to deliver a personalized experience.
- Operate food service equipment such as deep fryers and slicers.
- Use proper lifting techniques to handle large containers (e.g., five-gallon soft drink containers weighing 50-65 pounds).
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (or ability to complete our company-paid GED program).
- 1 year of food service experience, line cook, or prep cook experience.
- Customer service experience.
- Flexibility to work days, nights, overnights, and weekends.
- Authorized to work in the United States and 18 years of age or older.
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening.
Qualifications
- Active ServSafe certification or similar qualification.
- Tech-savviness, including familiarity with POS software.
- Excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills.
Pay
$15.50 - $18.00 per hour (+$1 for overnight shifts).
