KITCHEN SUPERVISOR / MANAGER - Billings Public Schools, MT

Job Summary

Billings Public Schools is seeking an Operations Kitchen Supervisor to support dining operations that serve 34 schools with over 16,000 K-12 students. Reporting directly to the Resident District Manager, this role oversees a production kitchen with multiple satellite school ship-out locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensures optimal customer service and client satisfaction
• Provides cost-effective management that meets and exceeds stated expectations
• Aids in operational activities including quality improvement, sanitation, infection control, and facility-related activities
• Fulfills health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree, or comparable experience preferred
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Supervisory, leadership, management, and coaching skills
• Communication skills both written and verbal, and ability to communicate with various levels of associates
• The ability to multi-task and establish priorities
• Initiative, sense of urgency, responsibility, flexibility, and leadership
