Kitchen Steward

About the role

A great dishwasher is the backbone to any great kitchen, ensuring the kitchen can serve guests quickly and efficiently. We offer AM and PM shifts to accommodate various schedules in a beautiful setting.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble, and clean the dish machine
• Pick up dishes from all events as needed
• Wash and dry dishes, equipment, and other items
• Store items in their correct locations
• Collect and dispose of trash from all kitchen trash cans
• Break down and properly dispose of boxes
• Sweep, scrub, and mop communal areas
• Scrub floors and walls in the dish pit
• Restock gloves, cleaning supplies, and towels
• Perform opening or closing duties as required

Requirements

• At least 1 year of dishwashing experience
• Able to lift 50 lbs. regularly
• Able to stand for 8–10 hours a day
• Able to work in extreme temperatures and around cleaning chemicals
• Maintain a hygienic appearance
• Wear non-slip work shoes

Reports directly to the Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef, and General Manager.
