Key Responsibilities
- Wash and clean dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and work areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and stewarding areas.
- Dispose of waste and ensure garbage areas are kept clean and organized.
- Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing kitchen supplies when required.
- Support kitchen staff with basic cleaning and operational tasks.
- Auxiliary in the proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times.
- Assist during busy kitchen operations as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in stewarding or kitchen cleaning is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items when required.
- Positive attitude and willingness to support the kitchen team.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.
