About the role

Assist the Stewarding Supervisor and Restaurant Outlets in cleaning and organizing Food and Beverage Outlets.

Responsibilities

• Promptly and carefully sort soiled ware for proper dish or pot machine processing.
• Quickly wash all ware and return it to designated storage areas.
• Maintain the dish machine by cleaning and filling it with water per hotel standards.
• Operate the burnishing machine to ensure a proper finish on silverware.
• De-tarnish and polish silver for proper appearance.
• Clean kettles, tilt skillets, pots, and pans promptly and thoroughly to support kitchen operations.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Physical strength and stamina are essential due to the high activity level of this position.

Requirements

• Knowledge of service ware and how to maintain it to enhance the guest experience.
• Ability to push/pull service carts weighing up to 150 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to transport heavy objects through crowded areas, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to grasp, lift, carry, or move goods on a hand cart/truck weighing up to 200 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt communication style for different audiences, including supervisors, coworkers, and the public.

Pay

Salary Range: $17.00 per hour. This role is not eligible for tips, service charges, or discretionary performance bonuses.
