The Tean DashMart Kitchens (DMK) is a dedicated culinary team operating within a shared DashMart facility. We prepare made-to-order meals for customers ordering through the DoorDash app, working alongside our DashMart partners to ensure a seamless customer experience. We collaborate as one team within the four walls of our facility, focusing on operational excellence, food quality, and a clean, organized environment.

About The Role

DashMart Kitchens is seeking a motivated and experienced individual who excels in fast-paced, hands-on environments and is eager to lead from the front. As a Kitchen Shift Lead, you will oversee kitchen operations within a shared DashMart facility. You will manage Kitchen Operations Associates and Shift Coordinators, ensuring food quality, safety, cleanliness, order accuracy, and operational excellence. We are looking for strong leaders with experience in food service, kitchen operations, or grocery.

• Own your assigned kitchen shifts, ensuring strong execution of food preparation standards, cleanliness, safety, and inventory practices (including FIFO and equipment care)
• Ensure all orders are prepared accurately, on time, and meet quality and food safety standards before handoff
• Lead and delegate tasks to Kitchen Operations Associates, serving as the primary escalation point for kitchen-related operational challenges
• Coach team members on proper food safety, cleanliness, and execution standards while modeling professionalism and urgency
• Partner closely with DashMart Shift Leads and Site Leadership to maintain alignment across kitchen and warehouse operations
• Foster a collaborative “One Team” environment within the four walls

Actual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.

For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. 4 hours/month if working 120 hours/week).

Base Pay: $19.80—$19.80 USD
