Kitchen Sanitor, PM, Bakery - Lakeland

About the role

This position involves operating and maintaining various cleaning equipment, transporting waste, and performing housekeeping duties.

Responsibilities

• Operating and maintaining pan washers and rack washers
• Transporting waste from production areas to the back dock for disposal
• Operating and maintaining floor scrubbers
• Maintaining chemical storage area
• Assisting with housekeeping duties as needed
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• Able to push or pull heavy equipment
• Able to work in a wet and slippery environment
• Exhibits excellent work habits in line with GMPs
• Demonstrates safe working habits
• Able to lift in excess of 50 pounds frequently
• Has general knowledge of machine operation
• Uses creative thinking for troubleshooting
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Holds good human relations skills
• Able to work any shift, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
• Holds excellent attendance and punctuality
• Able to assist other team members in other areas
• Able to perform steady and productive work for an extended period
• Able to work efficiently with little or no supervision
• Able to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
• Able to communicate effectively

Shifts: Monday - Friday; 02:30pm - 11:00pm
or
Monday - Friday; 01:00pm - 09:30pm
or
Monday - Thursday; 02:30pm - 01:00am
