Kitchen Manager - Mt Caesar Elementary

Purpose

To manage school food service site operations, facilitate a team environment with all school district staff and employees, produce and serve quality, appetizing, and nutritious breakfast, lunch, and food items for students in a pleasant manner, and maintain cost accountability.

Nutrition Services Director

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two years verifiable work experience
• SERVE SAFE or equivalent NH DHHS recognized Food Safety training or successful completion within first 60 work days of employment

Essential Functions

• Prepares menu items, sets up serving areas, instructs, trains, and assigns duties to kitchen assistants
• Serves meals at scheduled times
• Works independently, maintains accurate student account records, prepares bank deposits, prepares reports, inventories, and forms
• Maintains safe work areas, cleans up spills, and repositions fallen items
• Maintains or inspects equipment and work areas for condition, reports deficiencies to appropriate parties
• Performs other duties as assigned
