Essential Job Functions
- Oversee all daily kitchen operations and food production.
- Lead, train, and develop kitchen staff while maintaining accountability and performance standards.
- Create prep lists and ensure proper kitchen organization.
- Maintain consistency in recipes, portioning, and plating standards.
- Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, and product rotation.
- Monitor food costs and minimize waste.
- Aid with menu development and seasonal offerings.
- Cook and assist with food production for daily dining, tournaments, and private events.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Maintain equipment and communicate maintenance needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional kitchen experience.
- Previous leadership experience required.
- Experience managing inventory, ordering, and food costs.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to lead by example and work effectively under pressure.
- Experience with banquet or high-volume event cooking preferred.
- Food Handler Certification required or ability to obtain prior to employment.
