About the role
Born out of the minds of childhood best friends Aaron Ludwig and Mike Sabin, Jack Browns is a dive bar with a top-notch burger. We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Kitchen Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and efficiency
- Manage and lead the kitchen staff
- Develop and maintain food preparation processes
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate closely with the Restaurant General Manager and front-of-house team to ensure seamless communication and coordination between the kitchen and dining areas
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in a restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Strong leadership and managerial skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Detail-oriented and able to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Proficiency in using kitchen equipment and appliances
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and software

Pay
Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000 annually
