Kitchen Manager

Hamburg Area School District is seeking a dependable, organized Kitchen Manager to lead food service operations at the high school. If you enjoy overseeing a team, keeping a busy kitchen running smoothly, and making sure students get nutritious, appealing meals every day, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations, including meal prep, service, and cleanup
• Oversee and schedule kitchen staff
• Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost controls
• Ensure compliance with USDA/state nutrition guidelines and health/safety codes
• Maintain accurate records for meal counts and reimbursable meal programs

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service, kitchen management, or a related role (school cafeteria experience a plus)
• ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain one
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

Pay

Hourly rate: $16.34
Kitchen Manager Stipend: $4000

School-year schedule with summers off (8 hours per day)
