Kitchen Manager

About the role

The Kitchen Manager is the heart of our operations, serving as the culinary expert who ensures our kitchens operate in pristine condition. You will lead and motivate an elite back-of-house team while managing costs to drive financial success for the location.

Responsibilities

• Act as the head coach for back-of-house employees, responsible for hiring, training, developing, and retaining top talent.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and sanitary environment for guests and staff.
• Manage food costs, track waste, and control kitchen labor expenses.
• Understand, manage, and practice safe food-handling procedures.
• Collaborate with the management team to drive financial results and optimize profitability.
• Work in a fast-paced, multi-faceted restaurant/entertainment environment, handling high-volume days (e.g., 100K days).
• Lead new menu rollouts and introduce new food items to guests.
• Inspire and motivate your team to elevate performance and guest experiences.

Requirements

• 21+ years of age.
• 3+ years of restaurant/hospitality experience.
• Proven experience in kitchen management.
• Strong business acumen with proficiency in managing cost of goods sold and labor.
• Ability to lead a team to create memorable guest experiences.
• Willingness to work weekends, nights, holidays, and an average of 50-hour work weeks.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, noisy, and distracting environment.

Pay

Salary range: $63,527 – $74,738.
