About the role
Calyx Living is actively seeking an energetic Kitchen Manager for our contemporary assisted living community, Calyx Living of Wakefield. We are located in beautiful Wakefield, just off Capital Boulevard in North Raleigh. Calyx is looking to hire NOW a Kitchen Manager who will be responsible for creating an exceptional and memorable dining experience to our seniors.
Responsibilities
- Coordination of staff schedules
- Managing the purchasing, preparing and serving of food
- Leading all aspects of the dining department
Qualifications
- Demonstrates a passion to work with the senior population
- Cook experience a must
- Preferred 2 years or more of experience
- Experience with managing teams
- ServeSafe Certification
- Understanding of therapeutic diets
- Ability to work 45-50 hours per week, weekends and a flexible work schedule
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office
