About the role
Calyx Living is actively seeking an energetic Kitchen Manager for our assisted living community in beautiful Fuquay-Varina, one of the fastest growing towns in North Carolina, minutes from its two vibrant and historic downtown districts. The Kitchen Manager will create an exceptional and memorable dining experience for seniors in a brand new, contemporary assisted living community.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate staff schedules
- Manage purchasing, preparing, and serving of food
- Lead all aspects of the dining department
Qualifications
- Demonstrates a passion to work with the senior population
- Cook experience a must; preferred 2+ years of experience
- Experience managing teams
- ServeSafe Certification
- Understanding of therapeutic diets
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office

Schedule
Ability to work 45‑50 hours per week, including weekends, with a flexible work schedule.
