Kitchen Manager

About the role

Bubba’s 33, part of the Texas Roadhouse brand family, is seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee all Back of House operations. You will be responsible for purchasing, receiving, preparing, and presenting all food products in a timely manner according to established recipes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee the production and preparation of food consistent with established recipes and procedures.
• Enforce compliance with all employment policies and ensure restaurant cleanliness and guest safety.
• Direct productivity to maintain efficient food item ticket times.
• Manage performance of Back of House employees, including evaluations, coaching, and discipline.
• Develop key employees, assistant managers, and hourly staff through daily feedback and one-on-ones.
• Conduct formal line Taste & Temp checks for inventory and safety.
• Oversee proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all kitchen items.
• Manage and practice safe food handling procedures.
• Control food costs, track waste, and manage kitchen labor costs.
• Direct work for Back of House employees, including scheduling and task assignments.
• Train employees on equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures.
• Review applications, interview, and hire or recommend hiring for Back of House roles.
• Create a safe, fun, and clean work environment aligned with core values and operational goals.
