About the role

Cultivate a Better World. Chipotle is changing the face of fast food, starting conversations, and directly supporting efforts to shift the future of farming and food. We are looking for a Kitchen Leader to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order, and following kitchen procedures
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels, and resolve food quality issues
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house Crew and front of house Crew
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders
• Communicate with Crew members and customers effectively to ensure great customer service and throughput
• Ensure the kitchen is properly cleaned and sanitized
• Maintain kitchen equipment and ensure it is kept in good repair; repair malfunctioning equipment as quickly as possible
• Ensure compliance with necessary guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents
• Fill out Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Inventory Rotation (FIFO)

Requirements

• Ability to understand and articulate Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy
• Knowledge and ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location
• A high school diploma
• Restaurant experience

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $17.90–$19.93 per hour, with the possibility of earning digital tips. Actual base pay may vary based on skill level, experience, and/or education.

Schedule

Hours are flexible and can vary based on the needs of the restaurant.
