Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and basic cooking.
• Assemble meals and menu items according to guidelines.
• Always follow food safety and hygiene standards.
• Cook, clean, assist other cooks and staff, and deliver food in a fast-paced environment.
• Portion and serve food to customers or employees.
• Replenish food on serving lines.
• Greet and assist employees or customers, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Address basic concerns and direct people to supervisors when necessary.
• Clean tables, counters, and food preparation areas.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Take out trash and maintain overall cleanliness.
• Restock items such as napkins, condiments, and drinks.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels.
• Report low stock to supervisors or managers.

Qualifications

• Proactive and organized; able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to manage a fast-paced, substantial workload.
• Capable of completing tasks within a given timeframe to meet strict deadlines.
• Ability to accurately monitor wastage.
• Flexibility to work different shifts—nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work long hours on foot and in environments with varying temperatures.
