Kitchen Facility Designer

Responsibilities

• Participate in remodels as well as new construction restaurant projects
• Analyze both customer and employee traffic flow to increase efficiency of space utilization and improve design
• Participate in equipment placement and rearrangement
• Redline and update floor plans, elevations, sections, and details
• Review shop drawings and communicate with vendors/suppliers
• Adhere to ADA guidelines for restaurant design
• Work on architectural detailing and space planning
• Place kitchen, plumbing, utility equipment, and order stations throughout the restaurant

Desired Skills

• Prior space planning experience
• Commercial, retail or restaurant project experience (a bonus)
• Kitchen design experience (not required)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam experience (a plus)

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Chicago, IL.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $31.00/hr.
