About the role

Food Runners play a crucial role in restaurants, acting as a liaison between the kitchen staff, front-of-the-house team, and the restaurant's guests. Their primary duty is to deliver food to guests and they work alongside servers and bartenders to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to guests
• Work between back-of-the-house and front-of-the-house staff
• Organize finished dishes
• Ensure order accuracy and presentation quality
• Deliver food swiftly and accurately to guests
• Manage the ticket kitchen counter
• Cooking times so all meals for a table are served together
• Check plate presentation and accuracy
• Relay special requests between the front and back of house

Requirements

• Must work day and evening shifts
• Weekends and holidays

Pay

$15.00 per hour
