Kitchen & Dining Services Team Member | Part Time

About the Role

River Commons Senior Living is seeking an experienced and service-oriented Kitchen & Dining Services Team Member to join our team. In this role, you'll help ensure residents and guests enjoy high-quality meals in a welcoming, clean, safe, and comfortable dining environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, friendly, team-oriented, and committed to delivering outstanding hospitality.

Schedule

Part-time, Saturday to Monday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Maintains control of and responsibility for assigned section, including resident satisfaction, cleanliness, and presentation.
• Ensures food is delivered hot to each resident and assists others in delivering food throughout the dining room.
• Communicates any mistakes, mishaps, complaints, and accidents to the Culinary Supervisor and Community Administrator.
• Demonstrates knowledge of food menu items and specials.
• Assists with all aspects of the dining experience for residents, including prep, greeting residents, running food, bussing and cleaning tables, maintaining dining room cleanliness, stocking supplies, and washing dishes.
• Completes all assigned side work and cleaning tasks in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements

• 2 years of serving experience in a full-service restaurant setting.
• CA Food Handlers Card.
• High School Diploma or GED.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, and use hands to handle/lift objects. The employee must be able to regularly lift up to fifty (50) pounds and, on occasion, crouch, kneel, or climb stairs.
