The Kitchen Cashier provides customer service and cash handling in a retail store environment. The role is expected to be a role model of the company by delivering excellent customer service while maintaining company core values.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and demonstrate care and compassion for people; show empathy and concern.
• Build and maintain positive team relationships; relate well to diverse people and be approachable.
• Maintain standards for quality, cleanliness, organization, customer service, safety, loss prevention, sanitation, store conditions, and food safety.
• Assist cooks with making specific dishes.
• Fill and restock front counter utensils, water sanitizer, vegetables, and drinks.
• Follow procedures for voids, refunds, transaction cancellation, and all saved recall transactions.
• Responsible for personal Cashier Productivity.
• Take food orders in person and by telephone.
• All other duties as assigned.

Customer Service

• Demonstrate personal Customer Service excellence.
• Engage with customers at all times.
• Improve speed and efficiency of service provided.

Requirements

• Valid Food Handlers Card.
• Customer Service and retail experience desirable.

Physical Demands and Work Conditions

• Walking: Continuously, throughout shift, while moving about the store and handling merchandise.
• Standing: Continuously, throughout shift.
• Lifting: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay

$17.50 to $20.13 per hour. Individual pay within this range is determined by factors including, but not limited to, specific skills, relevant work experience, and relevant education and/or training.
