Kitchen & Bath Designer
Summary Of Position
ProCraft Cabinetry Chicago is a wholesale cabinetry company specializing in full overlay framed cabinetry and semi-custom luxury frameless European-style cabinetry. The Kitchen and Bath Designer/ Sales position involves delivering exceptional design knowledge and expertise to clients, collaborating with design partners, and creating original designs for kitchen and bathroom projects.
Essential Job Functions And Responsibilities
- Ensure clients are cared for throughout the design process and interactions within the showroom/offices.
- Resolve client order issues by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to the Sales Manager.
- Create original renderings, drawings, sketches, etc., for clients upon request.
- Design kitchens and bathrooms from start to finish using 20/20 Design software.
- Attend weekly Sales and Design Team meetings.
- Help clients select products based on their needs, product specifications, and regulations.
- Emphasize product features based on customer needs, technical knowledge, and limitations.
- Negotiate prices, prepare sales agreements, and contracts, and submit orders for processing.
- Inform the Manager of escalated issues and follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any questions or concerns.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- 2+ years of experience in kitchen/bath design using 2020 Design Software.
- Knowledge of cabinetry construction: framed, frameless, full overlay, semi-custom.
- Familiarity with European frameless cabinetry specifications and construction.
- Strong understanding of space planning, cabinet installation, and NKBA standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in reading architectural drawings and job site measurements.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and priorities.
- Customer service mindset and ability to represent the company professionally.
- Experience working with remote design support teams.
- Prior experience in a wholesale cabinetry or manufacturing environment.
- Able to speak Polish or Spanish (preferred).

Compensation
$40,000-$45,000 per year + Commissions (Negotiate based on work experience).
