About the role

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and slicing fruits, vegetables, meats, and other ingredients.
• Follow recipes and cooking instructions to prepare dishes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment and work areas.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized and organized kitchen environment.
• Ensure proper food storage and handling practices, adhering to all food safety and sanitation regulations and procedures.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans and utensils thoroughly.
• Monitor, stock and organize inventory.
• Notify management of low stock.
• Unload deliveries and store food items correctly.
• Work with a variety of customers and staff in an efficient, calm and patient manner while in a fast-paced environment.
• Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff members.
• Take orders and answer questions with clarity and understanding.
• Properly handle payments, using POS and able to make appropriate change.
• Set up, clear and sanitize tables.
• Dispose of trash and garbage properly.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 16 years old or older for concessions/food.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years old or older to service alcoholic beverages.
• PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience in concessions or similar food and/or beverage services.
