Kitchen Assistant

Main Purpose

The main purpose is to help the kitchen staff in performing all food preparation and serving activities in a timely, sanitary and orderly manner. Helps the kitchen staff prepare a variety of food items for daily lunch program. Helps with the cleanliness of kitchen and kitchen equipment. Follows strict hygiene practices for themselves and the entire kitchen staff.

Requirements

• Must be capable of consistent physical activity (lifting and moving up to 50 pounds).
• Must be able to write, type, and comprehend all information needed to complete daily tasks.

Background Check

Candidate must submit for and pass a background check in accordance with Utah's Department of Public Safety requirements.
