Kitchen Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Aid in meal preparation, plating, and service for large-scale events.
• Maintain kitchen sanitation standards, including dishwashing, sanitizing surfaces, and keeping the work area clean.
• Support catering operations by organizing and transporting food items and supplies to various locations.
• Set up and break down kitchen areas for banquets, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly cleaned and stored.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, kitchen cleanliness, and hygiene in accordance with company policies.
• Absorb and organize kitchen supplies and ingredients as needed.
• Travel to various job sites to assist in catering operations, working alongside the culinary team.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of kitchen experience, preferably in a catering or restaurant environment.
• Previous experience as a server, dishwasher, or in kitchen sanitation is highly desirable.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Ability and willingness to travel 50-75% of the time.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
• Team player with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
