Position Overview
We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to support our talented culinary team. If you're passionate about the culinary arts, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong attention to detail, this opportunity is for you!
Key Responsibilities
- Aid in meal preparation, plating, and service for large-scale events, ensuring top-notch quality.
- Perform general kitchen duties such as dishwashing, sanitizing surfaces, and maintaining a clean work environment.
- Support catering operations by organizing and transporting food items and supplies to various locations.
- Set up and break down kitchen areas for banquets, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly cleaned and stored.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, kitchen cleanliness, and hygiene in accordance with company policies.
- Aid in stocking and organizing kitchen supplies and ingredients.
- Travel to various job sites to assist in catering operations, working alongside the culinary team.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Requirements
- 1-2 years of kitchen experience, preferably in a catering or restaurant environment.
- Previous experience as a server, dishwasher, or in kitchen sanitation is highly desirable.
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and reliable transportation.
- Ability and willingness to travel 50-75% of the time.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
