Kit Assembler

Responsibilities and Duties

• Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms.
• Discern quality of parts and materials used in production.
• Inventory parts and tools used in the assembling process.
• Deliver internal orders to workstations.
• Utilize work order processing software.
• Participate in departmental meetings and training.
• Work closely with the inventory group to monitor supply levels and submit purchasing recommendations on a regular basis.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean workstation and production facility.
• Absorb assistance in performance of periodic departmental and facility wide inventories.
• Absorb assistance in periodic facility expansion and upgrade projects.

Qualifications

• Ability to individually lift 50-100 pounds.
• Ability to be on feet and physically active in a non-environmentally controlled plant facility for 8-hour shift including bending, twisting, kneeling, and lifting.
• Ability to judge distances and read signs.
• Detail oriented.
• Verbal comprehension (Understand oral and written communications).
• Communication skills (provide clear instructions/directions).
• Reasoning skills (problem solving and troubleshooting skills).

Pay, Schedule, and Benefits

The Kit Assembler position is a standard hourly position with approximate pay rate dependent upon qualifications and experience. All salary and compensation packages at FR Conversions are subject to applicable labor laws, FR Conversions standard company policies, and payroll law including taxes and withholdings.

This position is designated as a Safety Sensitive position. A Safety Sensitive position at FR Conversions is subject to post-offer and random drug/alcohol screenings. All positions at FR Conversions are subject to at cause and post-incident drug/alcohol screenings.
