KIPP Public Schools Northern California is a nonprofit network of free, public charter schools. We provide a joyful, academically excellent education to students who come from diverse backgrounds. Our teachers are supported with professional development, coaching, and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate push-in and pull-out lessons using research-based ELD standards-aligned curriculum
- Develop lesson plans and supplementary materials for multilingual learners
- Teach curricula aligned to ELD standards and Common Core ELA standards
- Support and coach teachers on integrating ELD standards and Common Core ELA standards
- Achieve academic success by assessing and analyzing students' performance and progress
- Build relationships with students, families, and staff
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
- Use instructional technology to support in-class and distance learning
- Ensure a productive learning environment for students
Requirements
- Hold a B.A/B.S degree from a regionally accredited institution
- Be eligible for a General Education Limited Assignment Permit, Provisional Internship Permit, or Short Term Staff Permit
- Experience teaching Black and Brown students (preferred)
- Spanish or Vietnamese speaking (preferred)
Qualifications
- Hold a valid teaching credential in the subject of your desired role
- Have proficient knowledge of Google Suite applications (Google Classroom, Hangout, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
- Have the ability to learn and utilize instructional technology to support in-class and distance learning

Schedule
