About the role

The Kinesiology Department at Missouri Southern State University is seeking an Adjunct Instructor to teach Physical Education and Exercise Science courses, beginning in August 2026.

Responsibilities

• Teach Physical Education and Exercise Science courses
• Develop and maintain course materials
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant research and best practices
• Participate in departmental meetings and committee work
• Assist with student advising and career guidance

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Kinesiology, Teacher Education, or a closely related area
• Experience teaching Physical Education and Exercise Science
• Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
