Kindergarten Teacher
RSU/SAD #37 is accepting applications for the position of Kindergarten Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching kindergarten students in a supportive and engaging environment. They will plan and implement curriculum that aligns with state standards and educational best practices. The teacher will also work collaboratively with other educators to support student learning and development.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality kindergarten education aligned with state standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective instructional strategies and assessments.
- Provide a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment that promotes student growth and development.
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust instruction as needed to meet individual needs.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
- Valid Maine teaching certificate or eligibility to obtain one.
- Experience working with young children preferred but not required.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
