About the role
Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy seeks a Bachelor's or Master's degree, LA4 Kindergarten Teacher certified in Early Childhood.
Additional certifications in ELL, Special Education, Reading Specialist, and Elementary Education are desirable.
Responsibilities
- Two years+ experience teaching young children in a school setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with early childhood standards, Guided Reading, Writing Workshop, differentiated instruction and math centers is an asset.
- Interest in leading extracurricular activities is a plus.
Qualifications
- Trainings and workshops in the summer may be required.
