Kindergarten Teacher Assistant @ South Greenville Elementary

Responsibilities

• Aid teachers with planning and organizing instructional activities.
• Evaluate and develop classroom procedures.
• Prepare necessary materials, equipment, and resources for program implementation.
• Provide clerical and technical assistance as needed.
• Implement and enforce school rules and regulations.
• Work with students individually and in small groups to reinforce learning.
• Monitor students in various settings such as the cafeteria, playground, and buses.
• Inform the teacher of any issues encountered daily.
• Model positive behavior towards parents and students.
• Maintain a clean and functional environment.
• Communicate student and school needs confidentially and positively.
• Operate with punctuality, professionalism, and positivity to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
• Act as a positive role model.
• Keep bus license current and accept bus driver assignments as required.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or at least 2 years of higher education (minimum 48 semester hours).
• Eligibility for a school bus driver's license (Commercial Driving License).
