Kindergarten Teacher Assistant

Responsibilities

• Aid the teacher with planning and organizing instructional activities.
• Evaluate instructional activities and develop classroom procedures.
• Prepare necessary materials, equipment and resources for implementing programs.
• Provide clerical and technical assistance as needed for program implementation.
• Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce and assist in learning.
• Maintain a functional clean environment.
• Communicate the needs of students and school in a confidential and positive manner.
• Conduct self as a positive role model.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervising teacher and building administrators.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree or 2 years (minimum 48 semester hours) of higher education.
• Must be eligible for a school bus driver's license (CDL).
