KINDERGARTEN TEACHER ASSISTANT - 188 DAY

About the role

This position is paraprofessional work which requires the teacher assistant to assist the classroom teacher in performing a variety of tasks and carrying out instructional procedures as directed by the classroom teacher. The work is performed under the direct supervision of the teacher and building administrator. The role is located at Kerrydale ES in Woodbridge, VA.

Requirements

• Ability to work in person and physically report for work on site.
• 7.0 hours per day.
• Must be Highly Qualified through one of the following:
  • Obtained an Associate's degree or higher from a nationally or regionally accredited institution of higher education (documented via transcripts);
  • Completed a minimum of 48 college credits from a nationally or regionally accredited institution of higher education (documented via transcripts);
  • Passed the ParaPro assessment with a minimum score of 455 (documentation of test score must be submitted).

Pay

Hiring Range: $21.12 - $33.82/hour ($27,793 - $44,503/year)

Schedule

188 days per year, Full Time, 7.0 hours per day
