About the role
This position plans and implements an instructional program and provides related educational services for students in grades K–5. It manages student behavior, assesses and evaluates student achievement, and modifies instructional activities as required. The role carries out a variety of student monitoring and control activities and may serve as a general education elementary classroom teacher (K–5), working independently or in a team or departmental setting. Classes taught may include reading or technology labs.
