Kindergarten Student Support Paraprofessional

About the role

Clark-Wilkins Elementary School is seeking a classroom paraprofessional to provide full-time support services to students in our kindergarten program at Clark School.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support to students one-on-one and in groups
• Manage student behaviors
• Collect accurate data
• Collaborate with colleagues
• Accept feedback and make changes to your approach as directed
• Communicate clearly in writing and conversation
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism

Requirements

• Belief that all individuals can learn and deserve every opportunity to be involved in their community school
• High School Diploma (required)
• College degree and/or paraprofessional certification (preferred)

• Excellent communication skills
• Well-organized and reliable
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with students, parents, colleagues, and the community
• Willingness to learn
