Kindergarten Special Education Teacher

Responsibilities

• Commit to high academic standards for all students and foster a belief in their potential to learn
• Deliver instructional services to students with IEPs in reading, mathematics, and writing
• Collaborate with school personnel to coordinate services for students
• Communicate with parents about student progress and involve them in the educational process
• Manage and create an organized, professional learning environment
• Use data-driven decisions to adjust teaching methods based on student performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required; Masters degree is a plus
• K-12 lead teaching experience in a classroom setting is a plus
• Experience in urban, public charter, or Title I schools is advantageous
• Hold NY teacher certification or working towards certification is preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills

$66,000 – $100,000 annually
