Kindergarten Maternity Leave - 2026-2027 (Brooke East Boston)

About the role

The role is a full-time elementary teaching position at Brooke Charter Schools, serving grades K-12 in East Boston. The role will begin on July 22, 2026, and the maternity leave coverage will extend through June 17th, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Lead a class of 16 students to academic success in all subjects through whole-class instruction and targeted individual support.
• Engage in approximately 20 administrative observations and participate in nearly 300 hours of professional development over the course of the school year.

Requirements

• Earned a Bachelor’s degree.
• After at least 2 years as a lead teacher, you know the importance of building a joyful classroom culture where students are held to high behavioral and academic expectations.

Benefits

Salaries are competitive with local districts. Salary range is $74,000-$130,000. Commensurate with experience.
