Highly Qualified (HQ) Status for Paraprofessionals

Bermudian Springs School District requires paraprofessionals to obtain Highly Qualified (HQ) status within three months of hire to continue employment. Proof of HQ status can be demonstrated in one of the following ways:

• Completed at least 2 years of postsecondary study
• Possess an associate degree or higher
• Meet a rigorous standard of quality as demonstrated through a State or local assessment
