KidStrong Youth Sport and Fitness Coach

About the role

We are looking for talented, enthusiastic professionals who are passionate, energetic, and excited to engage with parents and kids and make an impact on their lives at our brand new location in Edina. At KidStrong, we help parents build stronger, smarter, more athletic kids. Our private training centers focus on the brain, physical, and character development for ages walking through 11 years old. KidStrong is a science-based curriculum that is parent-focused and taught by our professional coaches.

Schedule

This coaching position is mainly nights (3:30–7:30 PM) and weekends (9:00 AM–1:00 PM). Option to coach camps throughout the summer and around school holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coach classes to kids ages crawling–11 years old using our science-based curriculum.
• Have availability to coach classes on weekday evenings and weekend mornings.
• Prepare for class by reviewing the class roster and become familiar with each child's individual needs.
• Work with the rest of the team to keep the class floor and equipment clean, safe, and in working order.
• Bring a positive attitude and high energy to every class to provide the best possible environment for the kids.

Requirements

• Experience coaching kids ages 6 months–11 years.
• Experience talking to and educating parents.
• Excellent public speaking skills.
• Ability to sell memberships to children/parents in your classes.
• Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics.
• CPR certified (or ability to get certified).
• Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills.
• Desire to help kids improve in brain, physical, and character development.
• Strong desire to develop as a professional coach.

Pay

$20.00 per hour.
