Build strong, confident, high-character kids through a science-based curriculum that develops the whole child—Brain, Body, and Character. As a KidStrong Coach, you’ll make every class the best part of a kid’s day by delivering high-energy, engaging sessions for children ages crawling to 11.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver KidStrong's curriculum in 45-minute classes (up to 24 hours/week), focusing on Brain, Physical, and Character development—not just athletic skills.
  • Physically demonstrate movements, ensure proper technique, and keep every kid safe and progressing.
  • Build authentic relationships by mentoring kids and families before, during, and after class.
  • Guide parents through the class experience, helping them understand the curriculum’s purpose.
  • Use the KidStrong Coach App to record attendance, awards, and student data.
  • Communicate professionally with your team in person and via Slack.
  • Prepare for classes by reviewing weekly programming in advance.
  • Complete required certifications and ongoing training.
  • Support KidStrong Camps during school breaks (Winter, Spring, Summer).
  • Assist with KidStrong parties and Parent’s Night Out (PNO) events.
  • Maintain accurate records of member information and deliver exceptional trial and member experiences.

Requirements

  • A genuine passion for working with kids—non-negotiable.
  • High energy, strong presence, and the ability to engage a room of kids and parents.
  • Positive, motivating communication style—comfortable speaking with both kids and caregivers.
  • Minimum 20 hours/week availability, including evenings and/or weekends.
  • CPR/AED certified (or willing to obtain before first class).
  • Physically active—able to cover miles on the floor, demonstrate movements, and move equipment up to 50 lbs per shift.

Qualifications (Preferred)

  • Athletic or coaching background, ideally with kids ages crawling–11.
  • Experience in PE, child development, athletic training, pediatric OT/PT, or a related field.
  • Comfort discussing a child’s progress with parents in meaningful ways.

Skills

  • Performer: Engaging, fun, and naturally energizing—class is your arena.
  • Teacher: You explain the "why" so it sticks with kids and parents.
  • Mentor: You invest in the kids you coach and the teammates beside you.
  • Student: Coachable, curious, and always looking to improve.
  • Professional: Prepared, reliable, and takes ownership of your impact.

Benefits

  • Flexible scheduling designed to work with your life.
  • Opportunities for advancement—grow from Coach to Head Coach to center leadership.
  • Ongoing training and development to help you excel.
  • A collaborative, mission-driven, and fun team.
  • Visible impact—see the difference you make in kids and families in real time.

Pay
