THE ROLE & SCHEDULE

• Looking for coaches with an athletic or coaching background
• Focus on coaching children on brain, physical, and character development
• Classes run typically weekdays 9am - 11am and evenings 3pm until 7pm, weekends 8am - 3:30pm
• Opportunity for a flexible work schedule
• Additional opportunity to increase scheduled hours through private party coaching hours

COACH RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coach class sizes of 6 to 15 children
• Teach the KidStrong curriculum
• Ensure classes start and end on schedule
• Greet students and parents individually
• Maintain a dynamic, fun, and professional demeanor
• Demonstrate and manage exercises
• Ensure cleanliness of the center
• Use the KS Coach’s App to record class data
• Communicate professionally with co-workers
• Complete trainings as directed
• Work in a physically intensive environment
• Assist parents with class direction
• Attend monthly center staff programming meetings
• Attend additional mandatory staff meetings
• (Optional) Manage Coach KidStrong Camp

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Passion for working with children
• Prior experience coaching students within the appropriate KidStrong age
• CPR certified
• Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
• Self-starter who just gets a job done

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities, but will be mentoring so communication and interpersonal skills are important.

Sphere of Interaction

Coaches will work closely with center leadership, families, and members of the HQ team.

COMPENSATION

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
