Kids Sales Associate

About the Role

We are actively recruiting for a Sales Associate for our KIDS furniture showroom. This role is ideal for anyone with experience working directly with customers, including servers, bartenders, retail salespeople, real estate professionals, flight attendants, and others in service roles. We provide our associates with the tools needed to succeed, including industry-leading advertising, financing, and delivery services.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers
• Uncover customers' home furnishing needs to help them realize their design vision
• Generate sales through a consultative approach
• Build rapport with customers using strong interpersonal and listening skills
• Encourage additional products to complete the room
• Work as a team to achieve sales goals
• Explain financing and protection plans
• Demonstrate product value and explain benefits that fulfill customer needs

Requirements

• Team player with a driven and motivated attitude
• Great listener with a positive attitude and outgoing personality
• 2+ years of retail sales experience preferred (but not required; will train the right candidate)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Able to use current electronic devices, such as tablets and touch screens
• Ability and willingness to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay

Pay averages around $40,000 - $80,000 per year based on commission earned through sales productivity.
