Anyone with experience working directly with customers—such as servers, bartenders, retail salespeople, real estate professionals, or flight attendants—can succeed in selling KIDS furniture at Rooms To Go. Requirements

• Team player with a driven, motivated mindset
• Great listener with a positive attitude and outgoing personality
• 2+ years of retail sales experience preferred (but not required—training provided for the right candidate)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to use electronic devices (e.g., tablets, touch screens)
• Willingness to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers to uncover their home furnishing needs
• Help customers realize their design vision through a consultative sales approach
• Build rapport through strong interpersonal skills and active listening
• Earn customer trust through honest, integrity-driven conversations
• Encourage additional product purchases to complete room designs
• Collaborate with the team to achieve sales goals
• Explain financing and protection plans
• Demonstrate product value and highlight benefits that meet customer needs

Pay

Earnings average $50,000 – $70,000 per year, based on commission from sales productivity.
