Kids Sales Associate

Anyone with experience working directly with customers—such as servers, bartenders, retail salespeople, real estate professionals, or flight attendants—can succeed in selling KIDS furniture at Rooms To Go. Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers
• Uncover customers’ home furnishing needs to help them realize their design vision
• Generate sales through a consultative approach
• Build rapport with customers using strong interpersonal and listening skills
• Encourage additional products to complete the room
• Work as a team to achieve sales goals
• Explain financing and protection plans
• Demonstrate product value and explain benefits that meet customer needs

Requirements

• Team player with a driven, motivated attitude
• Great listener with a positive attitude and outgoing personality
• 2+ years of retail sales experience preferred (but not required—training provided for the right candidate)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to use electronic devices (e.g., tablets, touch screens)
• Willingness to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Pay

Earnings average $50,000 – $70,000 per year, based on commission from sales productivity.
