Anyone with experience working directly with customers—such as servers, bartenders, retail salespeople, real estate professionals, or flight attendants—can succeed in selling KIDS furniture at Rooms To Go. Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers to understand their home furnishing needs
• Help customers realize their design vision through a consultative sales approach
• Build rapport through strong interpersonal skills and active listening
• Encourage additional product purchases to complete room designs
• Collaborate with the team to achieve sales goals
• Explain financing and protection plans
• Demonstrate product value and benefits to meet customer needs

Requirements

• Team player with a driven, motivated attitude
• Positive, outgoing personality with strong listening skills
• 2+ years of retail sales experience preferred (but not required—training provided for the right candidate)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to use electronic devices such as tablets and touch screens
• Willingness to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay

Earnings average $50,000–$70,000 per year, based on commission from sales productivity.
