Kids Club Team Member - GOLD'S GYM - Highland

About the role

The Kids Club Team Member provides care for children while parents work out in the gym. You will oversee and supervise all children through independent and group activities, ensuring they are engaged and safe in a defined area of the gym.

Responsibilities

• Organize and participate in recreational activities, such as games, simple painting, drawing, handicrafts, and songs.
• Care for children with disabilities, including securing them in equipment like chairs and slings.
• Maintain security records for each child, ensuring registration forms are on file.
• Follow proper security procedures for check-in and check-out, verifying parent identification.
• Organize and store toys and materials to maintain order in the Kids Club area.
• Perform housekeeping duties and sanitize toys and play equipment as needed.
• Support children’s emotional and social development through positive, age-appropriate interactions.
• Help plan weekly art projects with the Kids Club team.
• Complete necessary paperwork, including supply sheets, incident reports, and check-in/out logs.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Attend all required staff meetings.
